You might have read in the press that Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie have taken a 50% stake in a French vineyard at Correns in the Var.
The Hollywood couple have gone into partnership with respected wine grower Marc Perrin of Château de Beaucastel of Châteauneuf du Pape in Vaucluse.
As the UK’s Daily Telegraph said: “Fans may be disappointed to know it will not be sold as Chateau Brangelina, as the power duo are known. Instead, the wine will be known as Miraval Côtes de Provence. The stars’ names will be on the back label under the more sobre title of “Jolie-Pitt”.
If you want to visit the beautiful area of Correns, it is a 90-minute journey from Fayence and the surrounding towns of Montauroux, Callian, Seillans and Bargemon. Blackwood Villas has a selection of over 20 holiday villas in the area.
The Google map below shows the slightly faster motorway route. But a leisurely country drive through towns like Lourge, Entrecasteaux and Carces would be a nicer way to get there.
