Most people think of Le Muy as a quiet, rural area with vineyards stretching into the distance. But if two entrepreneurs have their way, Le Muy could become a global fashion centre to rival Paris, New York and London.
According to a recent article in the Riviera Times, Roberto Bonati, an Italian entrepreneur, and Maxime Rinaldi, a French investor, plan a fashion centre which will cover 21,000 square metres and have outlets for 150 prestige stores.
Maybe in a few years we’ll see names like Gucci, Balenciaga and Burberry right on our doorstep!
