To mark its fortieth anniversary, the Musée National Marc Chagall in Nice, in conjunction with the Réunion des Musées Nationaux-Grand Palais, is organising an exhibition devoted solely to Marc Chagall, on the theme of the self-portrait. The exhibition gathers nearly a hundred works, paintings and drawings, including a lot of previously unseen works. The exhibition starts in June and runs until October 2013.

Matisse exhibition. Nice. 2013.

The city of Nice is devoting this summer to a progamme featuring Matisse’s works from all over the globe. On the 50th anniversary of the Matisse Museum, eight municipal museums will hold simultaneous exhibitions dedicated to Henri Matisse himself, showing some 700 works by the modern master, many of which will be flown in from prestigious museums such as MOMA in New York. June 21st to September 23, 2013.
